What change to the pitch do we need to make if the frequency the user is on is smaller than the one the message is sent to and vice versa (Does the pitch go lower or higher)?

If the receiver's frequency is slightly higher than the sender's frequency, then the pitch of the receiver should be higher. Inversely, if the receiver's frequency is slightly lower than the sender's frequency, then the pitch should be lower. The memo 3 indicates that the volume should be also affected if there's is a slight miss match between the sender and the receiver.

According to the memo 3 it does not need to go lower if the receivers frequency is higher, it just needs to change the pitch and volume so I guess you could implement either.
