One of our teammates made changes to the GUI, and it doesn't translate to my computer. She has Windows, and I have a Mac, so I wonder if that has to do with it. It seems to work just fine between Windows computers. On mine, the font has not changed, and most of the centering did not work either.

One of the reasons could be because there are some proprietary fonts that the different OS use, so you might not have the same font from windows in a Mac, one way to avoid this could be using a certain free use font so that you don't have to rely on the OS available fonts, there are websites like dafont that let you filter for free commercial use fonts
