Our group is having a debate on the color of the tiles based on the elevation. we currently have it set to the higher the tile the darker the tile and the lighter the tile the lower it is, but other groups have it set to the opposite. What is your take?

Lower is darker and lighter is higher and anything besides that is a heresy punishable by death.

Ya so lighter indicates that the point is higher and darker indicates that the point is lower. Think if it like you are shining a flashlight on top of the object.

Use darker() or brighter() after your chosen color to change the color scheme

In a lab we did at the beginning of the year, lighter tiles meant taller tiles and darker ones were closer to the ground.

My team used darker as lower and lighter as higher. We also used blue instead of black to contrast with the text we placed over each tile to show the exact height.
