For our group our research topic was protecting and predicting network attacks. We tried to relate the two courses.
This quarter we learned about how the network works and in the next quarter we will find ways to prevent and detect network attacks.
We should have a clear understanding of the network before learning how to protect it
Networking is the connections between routers and other hardware. Cybersecurity may be about how to protect those connections and prevent bad actors from accessing those networks.
