Why do people use GitHub Bash?

Why would anyone ever use GitHub bash? The desktop version is superior in every single aspect. From viewing conflicts to committing and pulling changes, it’s obviously the only choice you should use. The interface is very user friendly as well. Someone explain please.

Although I prefer Desktop, some people are gitmeisters at GitBash, so they probably just prefer what they are used to.
