I'm having so many problems with my laptop but I was just curious to know if anyone else has had their computer act this way too. Being computer science students, I thought maybe someone would have some insight or thoughts on this.

My uneducated guess is your battery could be improperly displaying how much charge is actually left. Like at 30% it's actually at 1%.

I found this neat quora post where they change some settings so the laptop will auto shut-off slightly earlier, which would put it into hibernate rather than shutdown. Might also wanna look up some kind of battery tester.

If this is happening now, you probably should replace your laptop battery soon. This has happened to me multiple times in the past and the end solution is I've had to replace the battery. It is an error that displays the wrong percentage on the laptop, but it also has something to do with the battery.

You should just get an Alien ware laptop r17. Or get a MacBook and have it break 2 months later. MacBooks are so garbage.

I think that your laptop's battery lifetime is coming to the end. I recommend that you should bring the charger whenever you go out.

It's inconvenient though I would do that.

I think you should get a new one.

If it's come to this point, it means that the battery has endured a lot already. I think for safety reason, you should try replacing the battery. Remember to always plug in.
