variables in f strings not being written out?

For lab 3---
I have all the steps done and am at the last part of writing out the file except when it's writing out the summary part with all the totals, it writes out {numFines} instead of the actual number?

Never mind I fixed it. I forgot to type 'f' at the beginning of the string.
