What OS do each of you use (if you plan to use your own computer for classwork)?

I'm just wondering what others' primary OSes are for classwork, assuming you're using your own computer. I thought to ask because it might be nice to find people with similar daily computer experiences to talk to.

Edit: I use Arch Linux.

I'm updating to Windows 10 today so that's what I will be using for the rest of the term. I plan on using the school computers as much as possible, but just in case I ever need to use my laptop that's what I'll be running. What are you running?

Whoops, sorry. I should have said that. I use Arch Linux, and my ulterior motive in asking this question was to see if there were other Linux users in this class. (It's a CSC class so I would expect more than one, but who knows.) My partner finally got his laptop to upgrade so I use Windows 10 occasionally--it annoys me more than 7, but it's definitely better than 8 IMO.

On my laptop, I use the Ubuntu 15.04 (with Cinnamon) linux distribution, with a Windows 7 VM running inside VirtualBox, in case I have to pull up some Windows-only software (like MS Office).

On my work desktop, I'm running Windows 7, setup basically the same as the lab machines.

I run Mac OS X Yosemite on my laptop. Probably not all that popular for our purposes. I also have a Bootcamp partition running Windows 7 in case I need software that is exclusive to Windows though.

Mac OS X v. 10.9.5 on my laptop and windows 8 on my desktop.  It's easier to stick with one platform for the bulk of your work though, switching back and forth can lead to complications.  I prefer to just use the lab computers, followed by my desktop windows machine, and I only use OSX if I cant reach either.

I'm using Windows 10 on laptop right now, but I am thinking about using a desktop from home to run Linux
