What is an example of a latex code?

Why do you ask?  Perhaps add a little more context for this question...
I'm moving this to the "other" category, since it doesn't seem particularly relevant to CSC 211...

Latex code is used to type out math symbols and not normal characters on the keyboard. We used Latex code while creating pages to show our work in BK's Calculus class. One example would be writing a fraction. To make a simple fraction of a/b the code would be: $$\frac{a}{b} $$ If you need any help with Latex code let me know! I could be of assistance
