Planning for The Swedish Immigration Game...

+5 votes
Hey everyone! I'm just curious what everybody's favorite planning method is from the text reading for Wednesday was? I found this topic to be exciting and i just wanted to bring it up! More specifically, i really like the Actor and System T-chart used on page 561 in our book as well as the CRC cards discussed on page 564. I really think these would be helpful thinking about our game project on a bigger-scale in regards to our client!

I think if I can master use-cases, requirements, UML, and actors we will have very powerful tools moving forward. Laying out a program always seems to get me stuck and I too am very excited about these tools.

CRC cards seem to be getting into the details, which seems less likely to benefit when planning at the beginning, like we discussed today it is really about reacting to the punches of development then laying every last bit out before you make something. Just my thoughts, maybe I am way off and will eat me words very shortly. laugh

Very true! CRC cards might be too advanced this early into the project! But they will definitely be helpful (in my opinion) as we progress through the project :)
