Do we lose points if we click to show the solution?

Could you add a bit of clarification to this question?  Click where?  Show what solution?

Note: the OP (original poster) is actually in CSC 285, not CSC 211.  This Q&A system is shared between classes.

No, you don't lose points.  For CSC 285 students using CodingBat, for the couple of problems that have the "Show Solution" choice, you are welcome to use that eventually, but you really should *try* the problem on your own first.

(For CSC 211 there is no "Show Solution" button, but the answers to the "self-check" problems are available here:  http://www.buildingjavaprograms.com/self-check-solutions-3ed.html
and again, you are welcome to use them as a resource AFTER you have attempted the problem several times yourself.)
